Instantaneous data collectors let you make spontaneous measurements in the field.
ProCheck Sensor Read-Out and Storage System
An ideal tool for large-scale sensor installations. With real-time readouts, the handheld ProCheck is a simple solution to monitoring sensors during installation. It can also be used to assign SDI-12 addresses to Decagon’s digital sensors for simpler SDI-12 programming and for spot checking soil moisture and various other parameters. Works with Decagon sensors. Manually stored data can be downloaded in spreadsheet format.
The most recent version of the ProCheck (the ProCheck C) has the ability to calculate and display the average and standard deviation for sequentially collected measurements on the go.
Plug in the handheld ProCheck to get a real-time reading from all Decagon sensors.
During large sensor array installations, the ProCheck lets you observe a sensor’s reading as it is being installed. Readout values help you detect problems (poor sensor to soil contact, air pockets, rocks, etc.) before you repack the hole.
ProCheck can assign SDI-12 addresses to digital sensors (these include the 5TE, 5TM, GS3, MPS-2, and CTD) for simpler SDI-12 programming.
ProCheck is most often used to check soil moisture on the go, but it can also instantly read any other environmental sensor. Press a button to save up to 5,000 individual readings. Readings can include sensor type, date, time, raw value, calibrated value, and calibration coefficients.
When recording soil moisture sensors, pick from a list of supplied calibrations for both soil and soilless media or enter your own calibration. Data stored can be downloaded in spreadsheed format via the included software.
A durable case is available if you plan on using your ProCheck in varying locations.
