The Decagon CTD sensor is an economical, precise tool for observing water level, electrical conductivity, and temperature in both ground water and surface water. The sensor uses a vented pressure transducer to collect accurate water level measurements from 0 to 3.5 m, while eliminating the effects of barometric pressure. With a range of 0 to 120 dS/m, the CTD sensor has the ability to make precise electrical conductivity measurements in a vast range of applications. Decagon’s CTD sensor is a durable, marine grade sensor, 3.4 cm in diameter. It connects by cable to a data logger. A large amount of the complex circuitry is in the data logger, reducing the cost of individual sensors without influencing their precision. This makes it so instead having to rely on a single measurement, you can measure multiple locations without overstepping your budget. The CTD sensor works with all Decagon Em50 series and Campbell Scientific data loggers. The Em50G offers remote transmission to deliver data wirelessly to your computer. With this: water depth, temperature, and electrical conductivity can be monitored from any internet-connected computer in almost real time.
