Utilising propane or butane as a fuel gas, the FP8800 provides flame-photometric measurements of up to three elements simultaneously (purified and dried air is required), allows up to 99 definable methods, and stores the last 999 results. The device can be simply customised to fit user requirements, and for tracing results, it has the facility to export data via USB, PROFIBUS DP, RS232 or ethernet interface for computer assisted process control (SPC).
The FP8800 has 4 separate measuring channels and an extra, separate channel for the monitoring the flame. The 4 measuring channels may be equipped with appropriate optical filters. The FP8800 doesn’t require a spectral reference line, however measurement operation can be carried out with or without an element for reference.
This accepted and proven measurement method in combination with current instrument electronics and innovative process control makes the FP8800 a vital part of measurement methods in the named areas.
