The BVM volume analyzer utilises laser mapping to accurately measure size and volume of bakery products in a few seconds.
It uses Laser topography to measure volume with greater accuracy than traditional methods, and the performs volume analysis in only seconds. A laser sensor moves in a semicircle around the rotating product, which means you will get accurate readings also for awkwardly shaped products. The length/height, width, depth and weight (optional) are measured and all the information is displayed on a computer screen together with a 3D, rotatable diagram of the product.

A PC with the following specifications is required:
1 USB port and one RS-232 port need to be available.
Fast
Simple measure of volume, 10 – 60 s measuring times – with 20-30 seconds average.
Accurate and Reproducible
Nearly an ten times more accurate than seed displacement tests.
Objective
Not influenced by individual operators with transferable results.
Powerful
Comprehensive, but simple software – operate the instrument immediately after installation, Creates a 3-D rotatable graphic model of the object.
Versatile
Determine volume, length/height, width, depth, specific volume and weight on multiple varying product types.
Data handling
Save information directly in database files for quick access or transfer to spreadsheets.
Robust
Suitable in harsh environments
Non-contact measurement
Non-destructive measurement of many types of fragile products including baked goods, pup loaves, candy, extruded snacks.

Accessories
To be able to get a reliable volume, the product must be attached securely to the instrument, using a suitable attachment. The attachments are put on the support shafts. The instruments come with three support shafts in varying lengths. Custom made attachments and support shafts are available for unique needs.
